Framing

Lit review intro/context - Frame from a social justice perspective - Sonka

Framed by the principles of the social model of disability and inclusive design.

Both the social model of disability and inclusive design is positioned from the human perspective of inclusion and awareness of the human experience rather than the universal accessibility of an output or the technical specification of a digital product. The curriculum therefore is aimed at general digital accessibility awareness rather than specifically computing or digital skills and why it is relevant in this context to citizenship in the digital society. Many commentators refer to digital accessibility as a human right and a social responsibility or justice.
