 Comparison study KS2 (time literature says they can make meaningful empathy connections) and KS3 final year in school (they can reflect on education and their own future needing these skills)

Literature to evidence these 2 decisions (school leavers perceptions of disability in society, reflections on schooling and knowledge taught about digital accessibility or digital inclusion ready for their next stage in life)


3 levels of intervention and knowledge to discuss 

To what extent these key competences can be understood for the user for digital accessibly 
What contexts learners and teachers could see these skills and adjustments used

Using their familiarity of ICT is potentially a good way to introduce thinking of others needs. How they can enabled through basic adaptions.

What current education awareness is there for disability?

Text taken from original proposal to unpack/expand: The barriers and ‘unlearning’ highlighted during SCULPT were potentially framed by prior complex  beliefs and understandings and ‘unlearning’ or ‘retrofitting’ skills (Youngblood, 2010). As Gu (2010, p.340) explains “a large part of human and professional knowledge can hardly retain its original meaning when it is divorced from the contexts in which it was constructed and produced.” This made me consider that these skills should potentially be taught at the point these original meanings are constructed and that happens at a much younger age.
