Notes for conceptual framework PCK

Teaching isn’t just about subject knowledge, it’s pedagogical elements about how the topic is presented to students- teaching resources and pedagogical guidance to be able to transform topic knowledge into learning activities. - pedagogical knowledge  Topic is multidisciplinary- subject knowledge  Combining these together makes PCK an ideal conceptual framework to organise the study  With the UKS2 Teaching context established as an ideal starting point to locate this study, it is pertinent to include discussions about teaching within that context and environment making Cochran et al (1993) model an ideal framework to frame and organise the study.
